Stirling Engines
Hot Air Engines based on the work of Rev. Robert Stirling
These pages show some early construction I have undertaken in this area. While it is obviously little at the moment, I hope to find time to delve more deeply into hot air engines. If I meet with success, my next move in this direction will either follow the path of making a practical engine for a vessel or wheeled vehicle, or leading to some kind of more ornate working "showpiece". So many beautiful examples of this type of engine have been made by others that I can't hope to approach the beauty of some of those works of art.
I can only try my best.
